History of Present Illness (HPI)

A 9 year-old male with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) presents with abdominal pain and blood in his urine. He reports that he had been feeling well until he developed generalized abdominal pain 5 days ago. He noticed red color in his urine starting two days ago, and it has been intermittently yellow or red. He says he did fall off of a bicycle 3 days ago, but he denies hitting his abdomen or testicles. He does not have fever, sore throat, cough, congestion, or rashes, but he has had intermittent vomiting for the last 2 days.
